Do we really need more silver production in the game? The idea here is for Paradox/Seatribe to profit, not so much the players.

Will agree that if they should be bought as a generic hide. I call bug and should probably move this to there.

They can be.

imo hides sell too easily and for too much. Needs a nerf.

How about introducing cosmetic items to the cash shop then to generate some revenue ?

If paradox/seatribe never expand beyond silver in the cash shop this game will most likely crash and burn, unless your happy with a very low income game with 50-100 players only.

I completely agree with that idea. More ways to spend silver will be great. I'm sure Paradox and Seatribe are both trying to think of ways to part people from their money. In fact, there's a thread (or two) completely dedicated to these things here in I&I.

That said, I should probably follow up and say that I'm all for systems like Entropia Universe, too, where in-game money can legitimately (and from everything I can tell, legally) be exchanged back and forth. Power gamers become investors in the system and encourage it to survive. (I don't want to derail this further, but from the few comments I've read, Paradox won't be going this way, so if anyone wants to discuss it, I'll be glad to do so via PM or open a thread in CuH as an "off topic" discussion.)
