The self defense section under brazier/torchpost mechanics:

-The range of an individual brazier is a radius of 22.7 (11 pixels/tile, total range of 250 pixels). Credit to the investigative reporting of the Tumbleweed Courant for being able to pry that tidbit out of Loftar.

Started work on the agriculture section. Please correct any mistakes if you see them.
It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.

I myself came to the conclusion that fertilizers purity can now softcap you crops, however I am not certain about it as once I had some weird results after harvesting a crop [it's purity went up by much after spamming it with 10-15 x lime]. Anyhow, other than that it seems that you can no longer fertilize your fields with high purity fertilizers to drag crop's purity towards the fertilizer's purity, while 0% fertilizers will most likely drag your crops' to lower purity or will not affect them at all. I think that these changes were made about 1,5 months ago without any notice.

I recently planted a 50% pure cereal on a Tier 3 feild i had made.

I stacked it to 600% plenty 300% speed 300% or so with fertz.

I got 54% cereal ears back.

the field composed of all 4 bars being 80-100%.

I have a feeling either fertz do nothing now, as you can see that i used at least 150-200 fertz on this field, and it Increased 4% in purity. Maybe the influence bars could count towards purity increasing also, who knows.

Further testing happening now.

For some reason i got a feeling purity / elemental increase / decrease could be random now, and just the fact the more fields you have, the faster you will be able to increase purity as you have a wider margin for -/+ when fields finish.

I get a feeling it might be dragging it down a bit, but it could be simple bad luck. 15 fields of cotton fertilized with wood chips mostly stayed the same purity or lower.
