I tried to add the Spellpower entry to artifacts, but for some reason the values for them are hotlinked to an inexistent page. If someone could figure out what I did wrong, it would be appreciated :)

edit: fix'd. Seems I needed to add a property page as well.
I have an additional question for mediawiki-read people: is there no easy solution to, e.g. the artifact template, which for some reason requires that all old artifacts -without a spellpower field- also explicitly list the fact that they give no spellpower?

As far as I googled, using {{{Spellpower|}}} instead of {{{Spellpower}}} should do the trick, but it doesn't seem to.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

Having trouble with Clothing Template, I'd like to be able to list multiple equipment slots for items like executioner's mask, priestly robes, preistly stole. Anyone have any idea how to do that?

Done, If it causes any bugs post them or PM me.

Awesome. Would be nice if we could have the links back tho.

Who undid my changes to the artifacts template and why? Please at least leave a reason if you undo someone else's changes. Reverted again.

Too many cooks. I think there should be a way to see who did the last edits so you can send them a PM.

Sorry I must have miss clicked something.

There is, but not everyone uses the same name on the forums and the wiki.

This is why we use 'Torso', not 'Chest' as a clothing slot. It's been a problem, especially with Food Groups and the like, that you can never duplicate a name in the wiki or it'll link to the wrong page.

Indeed, all new properties must have their own property page, or the wiki will get confused and try to link as a page.

And no, I know of no way to shortcut adding new properties to things and I've looked. I've had to go through every single page of every food, clothing, artifact, or inspirational that gets a new thing added to it and add that thing. The name changes to the Herbs & Sprouts and other proficiencies were a nightmare, and so was the food patch.

That's a big reason why I've been so reluctant to allow more than a couple people into the wiki. If everything isn't to an exact standard, everything the same, you're going to have an even more difficult time in the future making changes like this one. In the Inspirationals, for example. Some of the proficiencies are in alphabetical order, and some are in game order. They should all be in alphabetical because John Carver told me months ago that he plans to rearrange them to be so, he just hasn't done it yet. :/ But now, because some of them are still messed up, making a major change like adding or moving a proficiency will be more of a tangle.

These are just some things you'll all have to work out as you go. Standards you all promise to stick to. I suggest adding examples to all the templates like I started to do here: http://www.salem-wiki.com/mediawiki/ind ... dMushrooms
All Mushroom pages should look like what's on the right there.

A specific question from someone just entering mediawiki editing: the order we pass parameters in shouldn't matter, though? Should it? I gathered from my reading that named parameters to templates can be passed in any order. Hence the order you require should only need editing once - on the template page.
