Couple things i would love to see added to this.

IDing the body should be possible IF other critaria are met.

You should be able to burn a skeleton in a furnace to make Ash.

Ash should be a new material. Quality of the ash is dependant on the stats of the person who died.(The skeleton).

IDing should be possible IF the killer marks the body using the scalp they collected(It will also show the quality score of the skeleton), if the body is left to decay into a skeleton without marking the body, There is no possible way to ID the body or determin its quality.

You can only mark a Skeleton for future IDing using the scalp which belonged to the skeleton.

10,000+ stats = 100% pure
1,000 = 10% pure

ETC ETC.

Ash has many uses

Quite true, and I can tell you nobody in 33 gets no more of an early warning of what the mechanics are than anyone else.

Inheritance isn't going to become useless, just tricky. If a corpse can only be used for a curse once, then the priest will be the best answer to get absolved. Of course, if that curse is dropped in the middle of a fight, it could be that a win becomes a loss and there won't be a chance to get absolved before the fight is over. Then again, look at trying to curse someone with a doll. You have ample warning if you're paying attention to avoid the curse all together.

Methinks JC is just tossing up bare minimum information to get all the crazies to come out of the woodwork. :P

The mechanic is still in flux. But given that it is witch-craft. Even when WE know the details, you probably won't.

If you want to be 1000% sure that your heirs cannot be cursed, then indeed don't inherit.

It should also be said that we are leaning towards having the death of the witch also 'sever' the bloodline curse as well. So you could always inherit and simply make sure you kill all the witches on the server to be safe :).

Are you considering making Witchcraft itself inheritable?

Quite the opposite. We are considering that witches themselves cannot reproduce, and therefore, have no heirs to inherit.

They can 'pass on' their Skill of course by having the ability to make the doll that granted it in the first place.

Gather your body before a witch gets to it.

OR

Don't inherit

OR

OR

Kill Yourself.
