Well, I can think of ways to avoid the whole thing other than "don't die." Problem is, are those alternatives worth the extra effort of avoiding a curse from a skeleton you can't bury the remains of?

Though that people do have souvenirs of all their kills, or just collections of bodies, one would think they could be flagged as legacy bodies much like clothing and many other things have been recently, thus making them useless for witchcraft. Then again, it could be worth the tears of seeing those that have died and inherited getting cursed, even if it occurred a week after the server started. Much drama would definitely be had.

So, the point is that we should use an alt for making our claims, and never use inheritance on real characters?

Talking to the priest is a viable option in case a witch acquires the skeleton of your ancestor?

If yes, take into consideration adjusting the cost of deleting a curse (from 200s to 400s).

should be atleast a way to counter it exept "search the 90000x90000 area of the map for your skeletons you cant identify anyway"

yes
All it screams to me is even more reasons to use alts / never use inheritance.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

IMO debating over a new mechanic none knows about (except maybe for the guys of 33°) is pointless as well as affirming inheritance is gonna become useless.

i think you are all being retards as usual, i doubt whatever things you can do to folks will be all that earth shattering in the grand scheme of things, however with the way everyone acts like they contracted real life ebolaids when a newb coughs on them and makes them sick vs the minor annoyance that it actually is i suspect no matter what happens there will be an ample amount of screaming and paranoia as there was with the 3 dmg nukes available via WC dolls.

either way, if you lose a character the intent appears to be that you are supposed to make an effort to recover its corpse instead of letting it rot in a field somewhere. break the skeleton and you can not be screwed with.

It would be better if we had to bury corpses in consecrated ground than "destroying" them, that seems a bit uncivilised.
