Well I've recently discovered that guns are a total let-down but I couldn't find anything for slings in the search. Has there been any word of a balancing for ranged fighting or about the addition of other forms of ranged weapons yet?

Guns are the new call thunder lol

I don't think there been any discussion on range combat other then it sucks for damage and you can't shoot over walls

Really? You can't shoot over walls? Even though the walls are like up to your chest? That's cool. If anything I was hoping to just aggro an animal and stomp it to death through my wall.

Current rifles are a place holder to be used for the sole purpose of engaging from a distance.

I've been begging for Archery since my first day in alpha. It stands to reason to myself anyway that bows were probably much more widely used tan muskets then. the only problem is that animals are already so painfully easy to kill a new Tier of stronger/meaner animals would have to be added to justify "really" lethal ranged weapons. maybe when/if monsters ever actually get put in. Jersey Devils, Hidebehinds etc etc. I'm really hoping that we get a "surprise" update of either Witchcraft/monsters in the Darkness or both. it HAS been a year since the Withcraft "demo" without nary even a smell of it being added.

As I've said many times before, nothing that actually drew me to Salem has actually been added. Witchcraft/Monsters/the whole "Spooky vibe" **** that was the original "vision" of Salem before it became DER CRAFTINK MMO!

It seems that Seatribe games start with magic and other things like that and ends with none of it. Hnh started with some weird **** too, like wind swords and things. Ended with what we have now, lag.
