Suiciding gets you 70% back instead of the 40% from being revenge killed.

The way darwoth protected his TBC meant that he would get to 1v1 each criminal - there would never be a 3v1 opportunity.

Suicide is definitely too painless. You should get 50% at best.

Even when we would manage to win the 1v1, he still had multiple characters inside the base. There was no way to get inside with more of our characters in the ring. Fighting 1 Darwoth is possible, fighting several alone is just ridiculous-

There should be a suicide board with the top 10 suicides listed. Also inheriting from a character that committed suicide should give you a "Family Shame" debuff for 1 month, that halves your inspiration gain and the glutting points you get from any food.

actually there were at least two viable strats that you all could have used to defeat the tbc, and i had one real character there. the other was a 50 stat combat alt to take the scent hits on.

We are evaluating the effects of Suicide. We honestly didn't expect it to be so easy to be the person that presses the button to end all that work. 300->210 is still a swift kick that we didn't think players would be able to swallow when they had a 'chance'. In this situation with Darwoth the team certainly had several ways to get in that they do not fully realize because the crime system is so new. Its also improtant that suicide is a viable and rewarding option for a character who has lost his hand from a ranger who uses eye for an eye because he is too scared to lose a scent. So there are a lot of moving parts here, but we will evaluate.

300->210 is an inconvenience. At this point it doesn't even seem like Salem should even be considered a perma-death game, just one with a harsh death penalty.
