I can now recommend to people that they can populate the countryside just outside of Providence in Peace and Safety again.

Some more great advice for noobs from Cleayt, Lets see how this works out.

Heh,
I highly doubt, that Chief would allow a system, that makes Claeyt so happy to exist for long.

True. My mistake.

You're probably right, but here's hoping he's seen the 'Plight of the Noobs' and decided to save them to help grow the game.

As the river rolled over the cliffs, my own laughing joy was drowned out by the roaring deluge of the water. The great cataract of Darwoth's Tears fell over and over endlessly.

Also a question, what if I drop a TBC and make a quick little base with braziers and walls? Is the criminal forced to fight me inside that makeshift arena, or is he able to choose other place? Or can he answer the call and then simply flee?

When I think about it, if someone commits a murder, we can also expect an endless chain of revenge-alts murdering each other in sleep.

It's nice that lowly scavengers can't ruin bases of players who take a break. But what about decay? With increased repair costs, taking a break might be even more punishing.

He didn't say 1000.

He said 1000+.

And I can see John changing this upwards if he thought people were getting off too easy potentially too assuming it doesn't already give people a means to make you come out of any bomb shelter (no matter how well constructed) and DEAL with them.

I like a lot of this in theory, however, I think the SUPER high required for the murder skill should be a lowered a bit. This new system already makes it incredibly hard to be a criminal, why not make it easier for baddies to get the skill, thus giving them the option of putting some scents out there.

Bad Bad Wo(Man) is not the same thing as murderer. You can be Criminal Scum without ever killing someone. You can break a guys legs without being able to kill other players, for instance.

If players like Darwoth are rangering murderers, there will be no one to ranger.
