Simply from a testing stand point, having a restart would be counter prodictive. The Devs would have to wait at least a few months for all the new systems to be properly tested if it happened. Having a developed and diverce player base will give them much better, and faster, feedback.

Will The Story of Cain and Abel turn into the "Eye for an Eye" skill, with the new "murder" being a completely different skill?

In other words, will characters that have the current murder skill "Cain and Abel" have to learn the new skill before being able to "murder" someone outright?

Will the new "Eye for an Eye" skill have about the same requirements as Cain and Abel does now?

Are pirate clothes still going to be attached to this new murder skill? or the revenge skill or something else?

? Pirates clothes don't have anything to do with any of the skills at the moment.


Revenge is a fairly low-level skill that players can learn as it only allows murder in the case where the victim is a criminal.

Everyone who has read this thread run to build a FORTRESS. And since the server has no groups 20+ with 600 biles do not wait any raids over the coming months

Thanks for letting us know this stuff in advance, i'd been sort of anxiously anticipating patch notes. There are some things i think don't sound so good but mostly it sounds really awesome! I'm looking forward to trying the new mechanics out. I especially love that we should be able to get loot from bases, braziers will work in a way that makes sense, and the potential of fortresses is exciting.
