As "Fan-Art" is an open-ended concept, our judging criteria will be very loose. We will be most likely to choose pieces that properly reflect the game's style but we will be looking for creativity, perspective, and quality. Just submit your best work that you feel deserves a place on the walls of your fellow players' homes.

First, I would like to thank all of you who participated in the first contest! (Most of) the art was fantastic and your response was better than I could have hoped. Out of 17 valid and/or confirmed entries, the winners of the contest are:


Third Place

and the winner of an exclusive equipable item and 2,000 silver:

Due to the quality of art received, prior to judgement, we decided that we would award the top 5 Places with the honor of having their art featured in the game! This seemed a fair number given the circumstances. However, there ended up being tie. Rather than hinder ourselves and your enjoyment by keeping art out, we decided to instead follow through and award all 7 artists in First through Fifth Place with having their art featured ingame. We used a point system for the grading and ended up with one Fourth Place work (alagar's "SUCH FUN BUTCHERING RABBITS") and three works tied for Fifth Place (Nictos' "The First Prophet", Potjeh's "The Redcoats are coming!", and Haukeye's "Untitled").

Lusewing, yabu, and thais: please message me with your account names to have your prize funds sent to the Banker in town. We can then schedule a date so I can deliver your in-game item to you for a job well done. Please allow one week after account name has been received for it to be sent to the Banker. As for all the contestants, winners, honorable mentions, and those who didn't make the cut, most of you did very well and the decision was not an easy one.

All seven pieces will be added in due time and will be featured at the furniture merchant's shop in the Merchant District. We fully intend to host another contest in the near future so stay tuned and thank you again for participating and supporting the community's creativity

The other judges wouldn't know good art if it came out and bit them in the buttocks.

His Majesty disapproves of this 'multiple judges' and 'point system' used. Instead he thinks that a weighted system should have been used where my vote was 10x the others.

Wow... this is going to take a little bit of time to sink in. Thank you SO much! I really cant wait for all the art to become available to buy so I can hang them on my walls! There were so many fantastic peices and I cant wait till the next contest to see even more.
