It does look like our change might produce 'legacy' mines which would be inferior to 'new' mines. This sucks, but the alternative is we torch your existing mines. Nothing more on that for now though as we have not made any final decisions.

Maybe you could give is the option by letting us distroy our current mines a week before the patch - then we can build the 'new' mines. That way people who have dug out most of their mine and have almost a second base underneith dont have to move 1000+ crates and other stuff, but those of us who want to work with the new mining system dont have to build whole new bases or mineing outposts.
Do not argue with idiots, for they will pull you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

I have reached the wall recently, perhaps do it in a few months so that the people that actually invested their time into their mines will not get screwed over so badly. It would not make sense to adjust mines two months after you already did.

Except that it would allow for the continued use of an admittedly broken mechanic. Congrats for reaching the wall though.

How specifically is the mechanic broken? I can't find where you talk about it being broken or what needs changing.

Purity Iron advances higher too fast compared to the other purity mechanics.

So how about letting us raise the other things a bit faster?

The other things are balanced to the duration we want expeditions to last. There is no speeding them up. With the exception of Turkeys... They are too slow.

The point here is that, even when the mine would be a 1000 tiles deep. People would still work very hard, set their alarm every time for it and reach it within 2 months.

The other retarded systems are alot more time-based instead of hard work.

Exactly, and the new system will mitigate against that.
