You can always swim into the water and ko yourself I assume, since it doesn't seem like he goes into water.

So does he agro you or do you have to attack him?

Yes, Water is a problem. But soon monsters will either swim or teleport when presented with those who hide over rivers.

We are going to test it, if the loots are worthwhile we might do it regular.

I am legitimately curious to what could be worthwhile when you are possibly lousing a 100+ bile character with Monster Hunting Skill. It is a major time investment to get there. I look forward to players sharing what they get though skinning/butchering new Perma-death monsters.

not sure, each one of my musket shots did 1500 - 1700 dmg so i estimate 5 - 6k hp. in addition to its standard attacks and whirlwind it also has a debuff called "sinkhole" which roots you in place in the water and quickly decays your canoe if you are in one. pretty dangerous for newbalewbs.
