Boy oh Boy. I had a new hat and everything for this patch, just didn't know who to give it to.

Thanks for making that easy on me.

Congrats. Hope those extra expenses on taxes were worth the prize(s).

Well, you know... sometimes taxes aren't a problem ¦]

You forgot the stall with 10% rent... so it's only 25k silver

Which Item interests you?

I was just peeved the other day about how rarely bear paws drop and wondered "How many bear skins have I sold?". I'm guessing the server doesn't track the number of bears killed but it might register how many pelts have been sold. Not the most important statistic but it might be fun for bragging rights or whatever.

It is a fair win.... as loms pointed out the town tax system was specially made for these kind of plays. loms fought hard, grinded hard, formed correct social alliance to win within the mechanics of the game

furthermore, it was never a "fair" contest to begin with since it was "be first person to login to get best stall" that was rewarded rather than letting the market decide how much stalls are sold for.... i am certain that the stall with best location would have gone for over 100k silver if the market was allow to decided it rather than socialism

And you forgot the 100k to buy that stall :]

Which stall was it that won? If you, like myself, disagree with the tactics used by the stall owner that won, simply don't buy anything from their stall anymore.

It is a legit victory, even though it is not as beautiful as real trade. I believe JC said long ago that trading with yourself is allowed. If it wouldn't be allowed, that kind of "cheating" would be impossible to track anyway, because you always can give 100k to a bunch of friends to buy your stuff and there is no way to prove they didn't buy it for personal use.

Nobody's saying it wasn't legit. If the loophole was there it's because it was allowed. And while the guys that won did so legitimately, and kudos to them for doing so, the loophole still killed the fun of the race. Everyone was overtaking one another and then boom, game over xD
