Ok thats a good enough sample size.

Pain quick recap of the type of guild leaders who get booted from a guild

-would freak the ***** out after getting high on his pain med
-When the leader is a raving lunatic, he's gotta go
-he was a whiney biznitch for a 40+ year old man

Notice how nobody brings up redeeming qualities in guild leaders that could manage to get booted from their own guild?

I'm honestly getting sick of this little prick badmouthing me and lying in this thread. (BaronBowden) The sum total of decisions I made as leader of BTK came down to like 3 things. I demanded that I control recruitment so something like exactly what happened didn't happen, I.E. someone like Realak or Darwoth getting in, it was only in the last couple of days when pressured by several town members to mass recruit that I dropped my stringent standards for recruitment and Realak got in.

The other two decisions were kicking out Aleck/Gigyas and attempting to kick out BaronBowden himself. (Imagine that) The only time I became a "raving lunatic" was when the cowards refused to get revenge on Darwoth when I put in the hours of work needed to do so. On the last day I was there, Realak posted that thread with a copy/paste of our skype chat and I essentially hit the panic button. I removed everyone from the Skype chat/my kin list and had I been in control of the town stone I would have kicked everyone from it until I figured out who Realak was. My biggest mistake was in packing up my belongings and physically leaving the town. This "allowed" them to do what they did because God knows the little carebear freaks wouldn't have tried attacking me had I decided to stay.

TL,DR? The only time I was a "bad leader" was arguably the last day I was and only because I expected my town to man up and defend itself. As you can see from what's left of BTK, they didn't even do so while to town was systematically destroyed.

(Little bit of extra info: The next day I was going to turn over town leadership to Gregl(Eulogi) because I was tired of not having any fun having to run the place.)

being good or evil is subjective and it all depends on who sees it.
in general, people dont have to tell others they are "good". there are always certain reasons why they feel they have to do so.

stop trying to defend yourself, pain. unless youve got something new to add.

Is this story written up in any more detail? about darworth & pain & btk. i've heard people reference the drama in their posts, but i guess the actual events occurred before i started playing again.
