M.A.'s parents sold him to some old hag, also known as Goodwife N., when he was 13.
Now, as he becomes a man, he fell in love with young Lizbeth Maudney. His wife, fearing that she would lose her little prize, has decided to act. Her love potions and witchcraft tricks can only do so much after all... Nothing beats love.
However, said tricks are enough to get town magistrate, also known as Marp Tarpton, to do her bidding.

And poor Maudney... she doesn't even know she suffers because a young, innocent man, dared to look upon her with affection

I'm guessing the witch craft was either A.) coming from the man selling the snake oil potions or B.) she guilty man
Btw don't that snake oil guy is acting weird since iv never seen him around these parts before

Hmm....

Nothing in the second testimony can be definitely connected to actual evil, although it would be possible for a Witch to haunt dreams.

Strange rituals, using the bones of the dead, are happening in our very capital! Someone must put a stop to these ungodly acts before we are all dragged down to hell!

Do not argue with idiots, for they will pull you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

Yep. Just more evidence of her innocence. The poor girl should just be released now.
