Its always hard to provide evidence for conspiracy theories, all I say about it is that I have checked all the ''new'' houses around 3 months ago and none of them were destroyable back then, so according to my experiences I think that you have done this on purpose.

Carver, you yourself have provided the evidence that Judaism is right by putting the tin foil hat on his head! Authorities always try to cover up what's really going on by publicly ridiculing those who know the truth, or even part of it so nobody will take stuff like that seriously and be afraid to say what they think if they do agree, and this is exactly what you have done! Either you remove the stupid hat from his head now, or the stuff Judaism said is proven 100% correct!

lol wtf

My grandmother has a very opinionated stance on how computers work based on her 1984 Tandy 2000. She is quite positive my computer is a failure because it doesn't use green letters on a black screen.

Your experiences of a perma-death and raiding system that look absolutely nothing like what they were when you last played is not helpful or constructive in the least.

I can only assume this was your question. There have been over 2,000 new players as well as server populations that are easily double what they were when we took over. I don't expect that we are bringing in new players, I know we are bringing in new players. This is all without a shred of marketing as I still consider the game very unfinished.

The question back to you is. Are you going to be a new player who provides feedback on how the game actually works that I can reasonably consider? Or are you going to continue to try to lecture about respect and explain mechanics that you have little to no conceptual understanding of?

then where are they John? What you "bring in" and what you retain are two totally different things. And to dismiss me because I have not played in a while is very silly of you. Either way I will continue to watch and see what you do and who knows? maybe you will get it right, or maybe not.

It is not a matter of breaking down a wall it is the matter of ONCE that wall is broken having some person come in and ruin all you worked for destroy it and having to start over completely. I am just curious, do you expect to bring in new players? And if so what do you think you have to offer? If it is nothing more than to work up a plot and a character to have them destroyed while you are offline then hehe I reckon we will be where we are today with the number of players playing.

Dude, I've been playing for over two months. I'm a newbie in all regards, and let me just say: if you play smart, your chances of getting killed are very, very slim (though the fact that it could happen makes the game pretty tense and fun :)). Now, I was once not too crazy about the PK system myself, but that's only because I wish people were making warfare more, but while some things about the game sound bad in theory, in practice, they actually work quite well. I can tell you're getting a little worked up because this game is almost what you want it to be, but it's easy to let a lot of the negativity that goes on in the forum get to your head. I'm not trying to hurt your feelings or anything, but play the game nowadays and you'll find it's actually quite enjoyable.

Well spoken. It is a shame more people can not speak on these forums with an ounce of maturity. This game does have a lot of good things going it's way. But it also has a ton of flaws too. Just because I have not played for a while does not mean I am ill informed. Sure I may not know the ins and outs as I did back when I played, but that should not automatically throw out what I have to say as just gibberish either.

Well, if I were in John's shoes I'd be reacting the same way. If he was just some money-hungry jackass, he wouldn't be in here defending his game with such ferver. The reason he does is because he actually gives a ****, the game is his baby, which is why I respect him more than almost every single other game developer out there. Just try to be a little more sensitive to that :P. Again, I'm speaking as a neutral party; not trying to insult you or anything, just clear the air.

why are we talking about my computer again?

because you stuck your foot in your mouth like every other time you have opened it?

if you had a clue how the town claim works and has always worked you would realize how stupid your comment is.
