Mereni wrote:I absolutely was talking about its restore values when used in a recipe. I specifically said 'its restore values are awesome'. Restores only happen for variable ingredients (and now for some Gluttony foods as well but those also use recipes). I guess I just assumed you knew that.

Here, I'll stop assuming you know how to play Salem and point it out to you very clearly: http://www.salem-wiki.com/mediawiki/ind ... nus_Values

Use the Jalapeno as 'Any Bellpepper' in a Recipe and get 30% restore values 100% of the time to ALL food groups.

Reread the whole thread and you'll see where people could have been confused with the screenshot & your first answer, you did NOT literally say anything about a recipe, while the discussion & screenshots were about the Jalapeno itself and cleary showing that it's -100%.
Don't use your womanly tricks on yourself now !

What was planted that you got the jalapeño from?

First, what does it matter what screenshot was posted? it was quoted by someone else entirely, so quit being pedantic. The discussion is on the value of the pepper, not the values posted in the screenshot, which can be very different when used in cooking. Just take the Devil's Wort as an early example.

Second, enough with the derail. It's not really the issue here. The fact the pepper can or can't be planted is, and we're awaiting an official response on work as intended or bug to be fixed. If people really want to carry on the discussion on the value of jalapenos, PM or report the thread and I'll be glad to split it off.

Jalapenos are intended to not be plant-able. They are the beaming proud sunflower of Bellpeppers.

You should let people plant it to grow green peppers.

You can plant beaming proud sunflowers, so why not. Maybe give them a little bit better chance to get a Jalapeno, so you could gamble 1 to get 3.

Starring JC, as the grumpy old man
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.
