No, I have those unlocked already without advanced cooking. They're the recipes that take craptons of sugar, or pepper. Perhaps Jars and other expensive ingredients.

Edit: Drats, was supposed to keep that on the down-low until I hoarded a lot of cookies for myself :D

No, the recipes that restore 100% aren't THAT expensive. Yesterday I made a corn pudding which restores corn to 100%. It did require large amount of materials, but not stuff like golden egg etc. Afair it was 60 corn seeds, 2 eggs, some sugar and some other stuff

Only downside I see is there's just too much to do now for a casual :cry:

Yes I believe that's darwoth's primary complaint as well. Successful Hermiting is becoming less and less possible with each patch. You really need 4-5 players min now.

I took some time to look through the various new and updated food recipes. My initial feelings are mixed.

Part of me is happy to see a bunch of new foods, there was a need for new recipes and items to forage. The seemingly major downside is that many of these new foods, as well as the updated existing foods take way too many "random" ingredients as well as offering much less when biling. More work to do, for less of a return.

I do like the idea of "chaining" the food events together, but I do not think that was enough to offset the overall nerfing of gluttony values across the board, more so when combined with the updated recipe/ingredient requirements.

If this patch came with a fresh start or if I was a 100% new player I do not think I would have these same complaints, except for maybe the insane ingredient requirements.

Why are so many recipes have at the output almost the same result? I made a few dishes from the berries and found no major differences between them.

And I can not even eat them together because they are all of the berries group.

In the past we were wandering for purity nodes or much more pure ingredients for recipes, now we do the same for getting enough amount of ingredients for recipes and for lower results :)) and also we have no clue about the result of new recipes because no pop-up info about heal and gluttony values. so we have to make atleast one with each different berry or meat type etc. to see them... yeah the unofficial wiki was updated some but many of the recipes are not clear...

I found a salamander and pulled its salamandertail. Now it says emasculated salamander. I'm pretty sure my character pulled the wrong tail.
