personally i have zero motivation to scrounge up 3 - 7 different ingredients for each one of the 8 - 12 different recipes that are now required for a gluttony session then lets go ahead and double the prep time on foods for good measure

, also have very little interest in grinding purity for a paltry 2x modifier just so i can get back to where i was months ago.
raise proficiencies? yeah no thanks, with the removal of purity on inspirationals (which is just lame as ***** since the multiplier is now only 2x lol) i am not interested in doing literally the same ***** thing and scrounging a chest of **** for each increase.
game sucks now, put it next to this one in the annals of history.
How about instead of being dramatic you give constructive criticism? And it's a beta game, comparing to things "as they were a month ago" isn't fair. The system was unbalanced, with purity being able to reach up to 10X modifier the older toons were many orders of magnitude stronger then the newer toons. It also made it so that if you wanted to get past a certain point you "had" to play a certain way.
I understand the frustration but it was an unbalanced system. Even X2 will give you a great advantage over those that don't have it. Also they may not want super high humor characters possible any more as it screws up all balance for pvp. How can you make a wall not take forever for a 2 month old toon to break down, but not so weak that a 1k humor character can one shot it?
But again, why not instead of just throwing out insults you say what you think would alleviate the problems to help the devs out. Would 3X be a good compromise? I don't know. None of my toons have had the luck to make it that far. Also end game content is light. There are many monsters that need to be added, witch craft, ect. that will mostly be in the late game player's realm.
I guess people with huge advantages established will fill frustrated by the changes, the way I see it is:
- everyone should give the game some time before jumping to conclusions or complaining .
- everyone should focus on how balanced the new system is compared to the old, independently of if they are personally benefited.
- Besides older players do not get screwed, they still maintain the best conditions to raise toons into, right ?
- they could start over and prove themselves once more under the new conditions ( with all those changes would be like playing a new game )
- we should all wait for the huge patches to be embodied and tested for some time to have a spherical opinion.
- and in the meanwhile enjoy all these monthly goodies
