Not sure if this has been mentioned, but you can plant boiled mushrooms now. Seems like that would make them less viable.

It seems that the maximum increase to the quality field and pots 1% per harvest. So we need at least 300 days for 100% of fields and plants. It's just double the value of food from these plants. And this is not to mention the fact that in the case of an attack on your land or relocation to another place you'll have to start all over again. Why are you doing this such difficult?

Patch notes did not detail that the bonus point goes to lowest bile and did not seem to suggest that 30-39 points = 3 bonus points, etc

It works like this: You get 10 points during one session, the next point you get, you get two instead. So, your 11th point is BB? You raise Black Bile by two, your 12th point is Yellow Bile? you raise Yellow Bile by two. It keeps going like that, two points every time instead of one.

When you get to 20, then every time you get a point, you raise your humor three times instead of one.

It's a way of rewarding those who put careful planning into a session so as to get many points at a time. It's also sort of a way of helping experienced players remake characters as it is easier to set up a multipoint gluttony session when you are low in humors and have the experience and ability to make nice foods.

What are the skill requirements for Forestry now? I want to start planting trees, I have all the skills required before the patch, but can't see forestry or botany now.

Walls do not remember their hit points, but instead remember the damage done to them. Now that walls have lower hit points, the damage that was done to them seems more severe. If you have sparatic damage all around your base this is most likely a result of some decay ticks that happened which you never noticed because it wasn't significant enough against the previous walls HP values.

royalcheesecake wrote:Did I understand it right, if you get at least 2 bars filled in a gluttony session, your lowest bile gets an automatic extra point at the end? I just filled 3 bars on a minor char in a session and didn't get an extra point. Maybe because I was 13, 12, 12, 12 at the end and there was no one lowest bar?

No, I"m sorry if that was not clear. If you have two bars filled the system will automatically give ONE point to the lowest bar. You get '2' points per session when you string more than 10 Gobble Points and you get '3' if you manage a session with more than '20'.

Yep. While I do appreciate the person to person trade that has survived, there are simply too many new players who refuse to use the forum or interact with others for their goods, and too many goods that a player should buy instead of produce themselves. I feel a system for these players to safely (and more expensively) acquire goods must be in place. Stalls will be punitive enough in taxes that I imagine forum stores will still have a place.

Yes, this next month we do plan on trying to get Animation software working again. It is still on the back burner.

The purity grinds are intended to take months, not days or weeks. Double power is quite strong, but if you feel it is not or that your time is wasted grinding it, then you can always ignore it and simply produce double the foods as somebody else for the rest of your salem-life.

Good catch. Botany was in fact bugged. Fix'd now.

I don't like how food with a variable ingredient has equal base values for all humors. The different recipes simply don't feel different enough like this. I think it'd be more interesting if different base recipes had bonuses for different humors in addition to the variable ingredient bonuses. And then if the variable ingredient also gave food group restores you'd have to decide whether you want better humor values or restore values for a specific food.

Also, now that there's only one variable ingredient in a recipe, could we get a subicon so we can see what's it made of? We already have it on raw meat. It'd be great to be able to see at a glance what is what, checking the tooltips one by one is too slow.
