Realak should not have been banned for 24 hours, that was pretty damn tasteless. You should have just deleted his post and warned him.

Did you see what he posted that got him banned? It was removed. These things above are insults and death wishes, not threats. We don't ban people for having a lack of any sympathy for others or a total lack of tact, only for those that make actual threats. Whether there was any real meaning behind the threat or was just more forum drama, it doesn't matter. We can't judge those things so any sort of it won't be tolerated.

If you guys want to discuss cancer and other things, please take it to another thread and keep this one focused on moderator decisions. Wishing cancer on someone isn't the same as a threat, never has been, never will be, even as tacky as it sounds.

Magicman. Telling someone to go suicide is not a threat but a death wish too. You know it right ? Yet people have been banned for telling that on these forums and you remember it just as I do. So where is the line drawn ? If there is no line just be clear about it once for all and say that you guys just do what you want, no need to hide behind useless rules.

For the record and just to avoid you some researchs, it was on Hose's account, he got banned for 24h.

No, I quite well remember, and if I see a case of it, a temp ban is going to be a possible first response on it. "Where the line is drawn" is a good question worth discussion here, but as far as I'm concerned "go get cancer"/"hope you get cancer" is just mean, not an actual real life threat.

Go read the news, sir. Been more than a few cases of people quite literally leaving what should have been their death bed to go carry out some sort of vengeance/revenge. All threats are serious whether intended or not.
