That's great to hear :) Well then, no more hoarding ye olde deermeat for fear of perpetual nullness in that area post-patch.

Agree

And JC- you are definitely slipping... last patch was this weekend last month... but best word is it'll be end of September before we see the next.

Just cry foul and make it October already...

It's nice you think you can produce quickly; but I'd rather you certain and go every other than produce half assed, untested crap.

What's wrong with you? John said right after the last patch that this patch will take a bit more than a month because purity and food are huge areas. Things are right on time right now.

Naaaaah.. come on. Do not blame Frakked. He really has to use his time better than reading information before posting.

JC, I am wondering - does the patch also influence the metal nodes I find currently? Will also the location of nodes be mixed up again and I have to check for different purity around my home again? (maybe you have answered it somewhere in the 14 pages, but really :D I do not have the time to go through all of this. _Frakked)

I suggested an inspirational ages ago, views, the main point of the idea was that you had to actually leave the safety of your walls to study them, something like finding bears footprints that must be studied on the spot, it would be good for hunters but couldn't be traded away. Personally I think its a shame that there is little reward for risking taking a character out of the relative safety of their base.

Apparently you have missed all the wonderful drops from monsters which certainly do not spawn in your base?

I love the idea of studying bear footprints. Also finding (relatively frequent) footprints of bears would eventually lead to bear itself. This would make bears a bit more common while tracking process would balance out the "finding bears is too easy" problem. Sorry for slight derail =P

You are right- I don't have the time to sift through tidbits dribbled out here and there. I work for a living; roof over my head, food on the table, clothes on my back... and time for gaming... No Mommy, wife, girlfriend, or maid in my household to pickup my slack.

Thanks for asking...

For those of you who don't want to read what everyone else is saying in a thread, you can use a little trick called 'search user's posts'. Just click on John's profile and click on 'search user's posts' to see all his posts and avoid the rest.

Yet you clearly have time to post things you have absolutely no idea about.
And that time would be better spent elsewhere. I would suggest getting some information about salem instead of *****, but if that's not clear to you by now, I doubt my suggestion would change anything.

I like that idea. Some change to classical food/inspirational hoarding sounds interesting. It doesn't have to be all that useful, but it would certainly add some flavour to exploration.
edt. actually, it could be just things that couldn't be traded away regardless of the profession, like a small chance of getting some baker-exclusive goods from making pie dough.

Feck Frakked how do you have the time to make all your posts and build your awe inspiring invisible base in the darkness?
