Well that is a pretty rare occurrence for an unskilled leathercrafter to make such a nice piece of leather. I'm a tad surprised to see it happen that quickly. Then again, I suppose some people are doing fairly large volumes of leather so maybe its not as odd as I'm thinking.

Wiki now updated with all artifacts, yay! Pockets are now definitely correct and most of the other artifacts should be as well except a few of the higher level ones. Mostly, I'm not sure about Feral Defense as it was not predictable so I couldn't project it onto anything I haven't seen yet. Spider Egg Sacs are a mystery. I also took a guess and said that Unthrown Argo Branch is butchered from an Argopelter, Bear Paw is butchered from a Bear, March Hare Tail is butchered from a March Hare, Spider Egg Sacks is found when killing spiders, and all are rare drops.
