I believe what MagicMan is saying is that while discussion of Nazi's is not against the law in the US, saying that current moderation practice is 'worse than the nazis' is a bit harsh, considering that the total number of people the mod team has murdered is nowhere near the millions. Indeed, comparing any poster's opinions or posts or in-game policies to Hitler or Naziism is generally done at about the same level of hate as calling someone a ****** or **** or ******, and usually offends people about equally. That is how it is 'all but a racial slur'.

Just consider this a fair warning that this is the level of abusive language that can get you banned if someone is offended enough to file a report. If you want to discuss this policy further, that's fine, but try not to derail this into a thread about Nazi's.

After speaking to John about the recent massive spam of what might have been personal information by the Mypet account, he has decided that such malicious attacks on the forum will be dealt with very severely. We hate permabanning, but in order to discourage this behavior, the Mypet account will be permanently banned and any characters associated with it destroyed (in this case none). John is extremely busy with the August patch right now and has little spare time but if he can track down which other accounts are associated with Mypet, they will be punished in much the same way.

Any future instances of massive spam or other malicious attacks on the forum will be dealt with in this same way. Be warned.

I hope you make very sure that the account isn't compromised when it occurs. It would be a bit extreme to delete characters if someone has their account stolen/hacked.

Compromised accounts will simply be shut down until original owners can present and prove themselves.

Clearly this thing was meant to either simulate a compromised account or was actually the case. I take it you guys figured out which of the two it was before taking permanent action on it (luckily no actual characters to deal permanent damage to). But if it was indeed compromised, am I to understand you intend to permaban or "similarly punish" accounts linked to the legitimate initial owner of the mypet account or to the supposed/potential "hacker's" accounts? I hope I'm simply misunderstanding the ambiguity here, and you don't intend to delete the characters off all accounts linked to an offending account before ascertaining that it was indeed not compromised.

Spot on answer, as this was one of the primary views of the movement: being the "superior race." "White" isn't a race (and neither is "black" for that matter).

These might not be races on their own, but they're subspecies of the human race. You categorize animals in subspecies's too, why not humans? Because it hurts your precious little feelings?
