I think an important addition to that summary is that BTK had a spy in staxjax's village, which was the specific "justification" for this attack.

I like it when people attack those who can actually fight back. The chief's involvement in this is indeed rather funny, in contrast to him scalping fresh newbies..

My gut tells me that it has something to do with us removing him from our town

I went back through chat logs and it is true when they say Greg had a char in their town. He was thinking about leaving BK due to Pain... being well a pain to live with.
We kicked Pain and then he told them and removed himself from their town.
I am going to check dates but I am fairly certain Raoul had messaged us to join before Greg had planted the alt/come out about the alt.
