It is, and my guess at the reason is to prevent report spam. Multiple reports on the same post just spams up the logs.

I'm confused, did Magic just close Neo's thread simply because UkraChild requested moderation outside appropriate channels?

No, I just closed it because I just saw it. I usually read the thread before I read the reports on them, so not a clue as to what is being complained about other than the post is highlighted.

Just people talking about who they miss and don't miss, nothing else.

This isn't the place to have spats with other players, either. There's 95% of the rest of the forums for that. This goes out to anyone involved in this sort of behavior here, not just the person I'm replying to. We can dig out the banhammer to make our point, but I prefer not to if people can slow down and think for a few seconds.

I was discussing moderation, try to leave green text to real mods.

This is why my thread was closed for anyone wondering.

Thread had nothing to do with modderation. I love how magic shows up at random times to play mod.

All the threads he made are pretty garbage and only one of them got closed so I don't see what he has to complain about.

A large measure of freedom on forums is fine for the regulars and other people that can handle freedom given to them. Some people will always need to have their hand held.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

Someone's real salty that they're bad at this game.

Please keep personal discussions not relating to moderation decisions out of this thread.
