Clearly, the general answer to this question is "yes". If someone does something to offend you, then I'd certainly argue that it's okay to treat them poorly. That's almost true by definition. I doubt the question you're actually asking is quite that generic, however, but you'll have to clarify it a bit if it actually is a serious answer you want.
