I can't speak for tonky or the other staff, but I'm sure they will echo my thoughts here. Maybe a volunteer is what is needed to do these things after all, those of us that want to build a bigger community step up and do things to help with that. ;)

There was already someone doing the "average prices of items this week" called Samuel Winthrop the article was here

I'm not sure if he's doing any others though, you'll have to ask Tonky.

you can always send us a trial article as i wrote in op spoiler, but i want to keep the standard rather high-ish. (at least in my eyes :P)
remember that whoever does better can always take over someone else's job.
but the thing is, for trials i keep on getting many random stories and essays instead of news articles (or, rather event articles). this is not english essay contest your english teachers give you at school. please note that contents are more important than your english grammar or style, because editors can always correct mistakes (or change whole thing) before publishing.

moreover, i dont want to give pressures of deadlines to my Hell-Fire Club members to get articles poorly done or to make this a kind of chores, this is for our own entertainment after all, and we all know that the fastest news always come through the forums or IRC.

oh and i do not mind someone else starting 2nd newspaper ;)
