It does not really matter whether they found them or not.

I have no doubt that they found them during the the siege, we haven't bothered checking most of our stumps in quite a long time.

Rebels whine every time the tribe raids, pay them no mind.

Some cheap, but known, tactics were used and much of the damage was to minor area outside the main town, but they did break though into the first ring of proper defense and prove that they are now up to the level of doing damage to real defenses during a raid.

Have you even looked at the brazier placement? Please, do show me where these so called "real defenses" are. PLEASE SHOW ME.

I'm not saying that they where the best defenses(they where very unfinished), just that the tribe is no longer just hitting small mostly unprotected groups or just using infiltration and grouping to attack towns. They, with the help of dropping empty braziers, will break through 2 sets of stone and plank walls to take out braziers, while taking what would be full damage if it weren't for the empties they drop.

The hell you on about, even from the screenshots alone that I've seen i can already tell that tons of the braziers overlap. I doubt that the empty braziers reduced much of the damage. 1/9 less damage, oooo, big reduce.
