The more food recipes and stuff the better in my opinion. I wish we had more things like coca plants for chocolate and the ability to make more sweets. Along with other things too.. I don't think we can have to many foods, more variety the better..

We should also be able to plant sugar cane to make pure sugar to from boston..

I could be wrong, but I don' think the climate in the northeast of america is quite hot enough to grow sugar cane in.
I think I have a hat problem.

John, when you are cooking up the various Witch mechanics, please remember to include an offensive element, and when I say offensive I mean intended to offend the recipient. I recall a video once that showed a witch spawning snakes - which is all well and good, but I think a curse that caused snakes to aggro immediately and/or at a greater distance and perhaps even to travel at slightly greater than running speed would be hilarious. Similar curses for all animals would be fun as well - while laying a curse on someone that would result in a random charge from a deer might not necessarily qualify as a false positive, it would be fun nonetheless.

It's way to cold for sugar cane, much less cocoa.

BTW it's cocoa not coca. Coca is also sweet but not in the way you're thinking. Cocoa also grows as a tree not a plant. The nuts are ground for the chocolate flavoring. Both only grow in South America. Sugar Cane grows along the States along the Gulf of Mexico.

I think most players would be more than willing to overlook a slightly unrealistic feature if it meant no longer having to rely exclusively on an npc stall for sugar.

it's nice to see you implement this game but I see neglect one thing though. the publication of this pearl to a wider public. John I am writing to you personally to tell you to add this game maybe why not on STEAM. so will attract a large number of potential players. Besides, even the great MMO giants have made them see as EVE Online, and I could name others as well. it would be a good business move, but also especially in terms of players! excuse my bad English

Yes we do intend to market the game in all avenues that make sense when it is ready. Until then, we appreciate you taking this journey with us to build a fun Salem!

Yeah I was not thinking of climate for sugar cane or chocolate, I don't think things are super realistic at the moment anyhow. Argopelter? That's not real, among other things, but I was just giving ideas.. Sugar purity is something we could use among a hoard of other more important, less important things.. Also the northeast of America is not suited for Corn but we have that and cotton...I should know I live in PA..

Out of curiosity I googled around for alternative to sugar cane. It seems Barley Malt Syrup is something interesting to consider AND it can be related to production of beer.
