Well that's the big issue here. It's not so clear there ever was an actual issue code-wise. A lot suggests he was lying to get his way.

I think we've gotten past the whole idea that I'm not having an issue with this bug. The dev's and loftar can simply see me trying to log onto the client. I've written a bug report on Seatribe's bugzilla. If anyone told me how to get a crash report then I'd do it. The dev's have told me that they will need to restart the server to wipe the hat and it's code apparently in PM. All I want to know is "Can they actually remove it from my character?" and "How long will it take?"

I don't think you need to worry about those questions.

Go to your users folder. Delete the Salem folder (not the .salem folder) - or rename the folder as "Salem-Archive" if you're worried about losing your map files. Re-install Kandarim's client. Try to log in.

I've already tried to re-install Kand's client yesterday.

The reason this question is in the Mod complaints thread and not the Bug section is because the Dev's have stated that they could just remove it but won't, so that they can grief me and troll me more. I've told them that if they could just remove it tonight so I could play normally I'd be happy but they won't do that or can't apparently.

FFS why am I having to do all this just for them to keep griefing me. I've been dealing with this for 3 days now. Why can't they simply remove it for now and put it back on me later when they've worked it out? I'm absolutely willing to test it later with them but tonight I just want to play.

No that's the whole problem, it's a test of the Witch Craft mechanics. It can't be removed except by some non-existing NPC that's coming in 3 weeks supposedly. At least that's what the Chief has said.

Are you guys still working on this? I wasn't able to log onto the account a bit ago is loftar still on it? Is this going to get fixed tonight?
