You know the burden of proof falls to the accuser no? Where are his screenshots of us 'attacking him' or doing anything to him other than removing him from our village charter.

But back on point for Bait to be able to use the word Justice...

He would have to be operating from facts - he isnt
Fairness - A village removing 2 bad members equates someone completely removed from the situation taking a 'bounty' to raze their home and health?:P
This ties into C... Raoul was allowed to leave the village after being found as a thief. Anyone from the village can testify to that -(10ish people vs the word of 1)

"Justice served" is really all that I took umbrage with.
Bait is equating himself with less integrity that Darworth or the Chief demonstrate:) At least they are honest about where they get their kicks from:)

B

im asking about what actually happened in BTK that you can show :) but neither side has anything available.
sure your town has its own decision, but i have no idea what your town is like except that you had kicked the founder.
your town probably has made the best decision available, but that alone doesnt make you "justified" in general, unless you have the sound proof of Raoul being the real thief, just like Raoul isnt "justified" enough in general unless he has the proof of BTK being evil and mean to him.
all i see is that both of you are crying for justice and it is all very unclear.

i dont know who Bait is like either, but, when the situation is too unclear, then you cannot blame the hunter who take on the mission by his own judgement, subjective or not. you have to convince the audience how right you are somehow, if you want people to think you are on the "justice" side and Raoul isnt.

Tonkey re read.

We never asked for any justice regarding Raoul being a thief.
We kicked him out of the town. We didn't post a bounty.
Allowed him to leave and find someone else to scam:)

Same with Pain we kicked him. Allowed him to leave. Wished him well in his future endavours..

If you re read the definition of justice.. proportionate action is key.. we have been proportionate with all the people referenced.
The balance of proof should clearly demonstrate how reasonable we are.
Unfortunately we have just been unlucky with some bad apple members.

TBH tonkey you obviously havn't really read any of the threads well. I was so fair as to openly admit it was even possible Raoul wasn't the thief so future villages could make their own decision around him.

My only quibble is with Bait inferring he is serving Justice. At best he could call it revenge.

see, you havent got my point either, baronbowden. but its probably my part, not being able to explain well.
but the thing is, you cant blame Bait for calling it "serving justice" because this justice is Raoul's justice and never yours.

You can blame:)

By his own admission he hadn't even bothered to speak with anyone but Raoul.
Why I gave you the definition of Justice if you re examine it you will see that it is impossible for him to accurately use the word

Hence Revenge being appropriate:)

Enough back and forth though I just expected better from someone of your journalistic integrity:P

I like that you are directly quoting me in your argument.

To be honest, I couldn't care less if people believe me or not. As I stated, I can't prove that I didn't do it, nor can they prove that I did. The fact remains, this is a contract, not a trial. Regardless of whether or not you believe my side of things, I am still willing to pay 10,000 silver for the job to be done.

We are in complete agreement Raoul.

It is a revenge contract for being booted out of the town. You feel unfairly. And another group of people felt it was deserved and fair.

My issue was bait pretending he is taking the contract out of some noble cause and not just greed and for LOLz.

A village obviously has the right to decide who to allow to stay in the village or not.

Unless you are the leader and founder of said village, eh? You ***** hypocrite. I can't wait for my former "town" to be nothing but a smouldering ruin since you are all nothing but a bunch of backstabbing little pricks who cast out the very person who welcomed you with open arms. Burn.

People say the same thing about other gossip papers. They don't get paid to get it right, just to sell papers. Sometimes that means just chasing people around with cameras, sometimes making up something that isn't the truth, but everybody gets tired of denying the BS, or even hacking into people's computers and phones to get stories.... (Hope you don't start hacking people for stories, tonky.)
