The game's not hard. It's easy to just not commit summon-able crimes and just build defense. The problem is that there's really no recourse to a group of tribal nut-huggers all grouped together. You can't waste claim them and you can't go against them in a planned battle. They can commit whatever crimes they want without any consequence mostly because the summon/crime system is broken but also because there's just more of them to defend if a waste claim does show up. They luckily just can't commit waste if you have a single brazier covering it.
They've also clearly figured out how to Pclaim safety zones to deflect against rebellions within the tribe like they have in "The Danger Zone".
No town has gone down except if there's a spy involved or Realak party's someone for some reason. If you're just a little bit smart about it they can't do anything.
The frustrating thing is that people are just giving up on actually doing anything themselves and flocking to the tribe. People like you, queent8r, Brona, Darwoth and Brego have basically said "***** it" might as well join them to keep playing the game. The only alternative is groups like Realak's which I wouldn't trust at all and aren't really all that good at understanding the best tactical strategies like "don't fight if you aren't positive you're going to win". Even the good players from last world like Darwoth and the Candy Queen are basically just going along to get along with the tribe without actually joining them and the tribe is just letting them do whatever they want so they don't have to attack them.
It's one sided is all I'm saying and the Russians and other big groups that could actually go against them have never come back so it will stay like that forever.

As the river rolled over the cliffs, my own laughing joy was drowned out by the roaring deluge of the water. The great cataract of Darwoth's Tears fell over and over endlessly.
