And honestly, I'm not sure what mechanics you're talking about. It may get worse later in the game, but when I ran out of inspiration I was perfectly content on hauling resources back and forth for the others still playing to use, part of the benefit when there is a group of people working together rather than going solo.

Once again, just because you don't like the reason doesn't mean it isn't a good reason.

Okay, let me rephrase that; no reason at all. There, happy?

He's talking about the hours and hours of playing every possible scenario of every mechanic to see how it works, where it's broken, how it can be fairly improved when improvement is needed, and then the even more hours spent trying to convince the devs of broken things, followed by even more hours finding ways to convince them in-game when we aren't listened to out of game. You really have no idea.

Doesn't really matter how much you think you've contributed when all of those efforts are completely reversed by the same people on a regular basis.

In any case, It's hard to maintain the same argument in four different threads and honestly it gets tiresome when you have several morons spouting out the same things over and over and only address parts of the posts that they have the capacity to respond to rather than all of the points made so I'm done with you rejects of life for the time being.

I do. I've been there for most of that. Also look at Kaios's start date, he started Alpha. I'm pretty sure he's been doing the same reports, bug reports and forum pressure on the dev's as all of you. I know I have.

Mereni wrote:I didn't say they would stay if they weren't killed. I said it's the broken mechanics that are chasing people away, not the fact that it's open pvp.

This has nothing to do with pvp and yes the mechanics are the majority of the problem. This has to do with the inability of the tribe to recognize that killing new players when the game is so low in population is detrimental to the game's future and part of the problem. There's no argument here. Killing and bullying fresh new players with 100 stat geared up characters drives them from the game while it's so vulnerable.
