should just make one "umbrella" game called "safen" and then have salem, haven and hafen all be tied into that umbrella each being its own "country" with different rules/mechanics using the server travel code from this game.

skills/stats could be loosely translated and assigned their equivalent values upon traveling from one game to the other, if jorbtard decide to abandon games one day and sell out to me it is what i would do thus preserving all of the communities while bringing them together.

nice thing is would still have all of the inner game turmoil with raiders etc, but then there would be an underlying subtle feel of "community" in each game on top of the local ones. so instead of just group a vs group b we would also see salem going to war with haven etc where enemies temporarily band together to go **** on the other game

What would one pay for a game like Salem ?
Or what would it be sold for ?

I can remember the (european) publishing rights for Ragnarok Online where sold to a french company when the game was dying for (only) +/- 25.000 euro.

I would love to buy the Salem rights for a small amount like that, I'm sure I could turn it into a thriving game !!!
