I gather you're trying to make a big show to smear me but no, I actually am not acting on a bias. Keep wild accusations, politics, and drama out of trade winds. Political trades are cool because they're still trade. If you need to make political drama about a trade thread, make a HoB thread.

Also, if you see a trade thread getting **** on, I'd much appreciate if you report the offending posts. <3

It's true that I hinnom most posts I prune rather than giving them their own thread and it probably is worth being transparent about why because it's not really a terrible secret. These posts are often in reply to an OP and lack critical information because of this. It is not my place to fill this information in and if moving posts would create a disjointed conversation that doesn't make sense to readers, it's better for me to let the original poster create their own OP.

(Also you've found my greatest shame, I log onto both the Haven and Salem boards simultaneously when I get on)

First of all, I have not accused anyone of anything, nor did I make drama or talk about politics.
All I wanted to do is to point out, that the positive feedback looked highly suspiciuous, which may or may not have affected the potential trade, and as such I believe it to be directly related to the board theme.
I fail to see how questioning the traders reputation doesn't relate to the trade itself. Are we suposed to make a new thread in HoB about every single shop we are not sure about?

the thread was in the right place for the reasons you listed and that is why there are numerous identical conversations happening across that forum, you are simply witnessing the latest incident of moderator ***** which is the norm around here, hence the 116 pages of this very thread.

You don't make a thread just to announce you'll make a thread, simple as that. That ain't nothing but post count farming.

That isnt at all what happened. Ikpeip made a thread to announce when the next MM tribe video would be released in hopes that we could get some people around to watch it together at the same time. Only one person on these forums cares about post count farming and you guys don't do anything at all about him.

So go ahead and do it then, we'll all be happy to see you gone from here.

I wouldn't be. I would bet my left foot that if darwoth started his own forum, and we all started posting our usual content you would all come see it.


All in all I just think when it comes to butthurt feelings you mods need to be the bigger people. The point of being a moderator is to step aside from how you feel and to judge based on the rules. We don't have to be grownups here. You do.

Yes, trade winds is for trade. Leaving positive and negative feedback is cool but if you're slandering for the sake of slandering then it's meant for HoB. If you're not keen on making individual threads for every shop then make a general thread for slandering shops.

Please explain, how doubting the traders reputation/intentions and pointing out why I believe it to be questionable is "slandering for the sake of slandering".
Once again, I believe, that pointing out, that some of the feedback posts look highly suspicious has a direct relation to trade and may as well be pereceived as a feedback of a sort.

I'm sorry but I'm not going to be drawn into a lengthy argument over this. Trade winds is for trade. You can hate me for it but if you post defamation that are unrelated to a trade then it doesn't belong in trade winds and I will prune it.
