But you did get your base trashed. Advice seems valid to me.

It was Willy's property when it got trashed, i just had my baby combat alt in there. No base which was actualy mine has ever been damaged by an enemy, nor have I lost a character which wasn't some nub i didn't give half a **** about. And for at least six months now i have always had at least one person from that list with me.

Technicalities. The base you were leanto'd in, had a character vaulted in, and were farming/building at was completely train wrecked for your failed affiliations. You can try to pretend you didn't care. But the simple fact is you lost tons of time and effort for your poor choice of company.

My character with waste scents was vaulted there, yet it didn't die when you guys broke in (inb4 ressurection of old lies). No building was done, and fortunately for me, the vast majority of my crops were farmed and kept in my main base, where my main lived. She just visited CoD while we were looting. After we'd looted most of the stuff we cared to vault, I mostly afk'd and cooked in CoD, sometimes digging lime.

And 'completely train wrecked'? I guess you guys did smash a number of storage containers and make a decent size hole in the eastern wall, but standards have clearly dropped if this is what you now call a complete train wreck. Which indeed they must have, judging by the thread about destroying a bell which had run out of upkeep that was posted today

I totally did care though, although my lost time and effort was not what i'd have called 'tons' various aspects of that incident were very annoying. Not least of all the fact that it was pretty much all because of one person's stupidity, indeed he is a very poor choice of company. Still, I and others have had no difficulty surviving playing with him, those who did not typically had followed his example in failing to implement obvious safety measures.
I think this just highlights the importance of avoiding not just treachery and conflict, but retards in your group.

You just confirmed pretty well that the people on that list should be avoided. You called them retards, stupid, poor choice of company, say they fail to implement obvious safety measures. You say your character was vaulted there with scents out, so could have easily died, and that you were very much inconvenienced. You claim it's no big deal, but no one wants to go through what you describe. Sounds to me like you were simply very lucky.

I called one of them those things, because Sitting Bull is certainly all of those things, and definitely should be avoided. The others on that list, it's debatable whether they have any/all of those flaws. Judaism certainly doesn't, though he neglected some safety measures now and then. But the point is that playing with any of these people, even Sitting Bull himself, is no greater risk to the life of a person who takes basic safety measures than playing with any other idiot who doesn't know what they're doing. People keep playing with these guys and not dying. Unworthy of being specially listed as risks to your life.
