Try hanging one of these pictures on your front door at home or in your cubicle at work, or your locker at school. You'd be shunned by your neighbors, reported at school and probably fired from your job because these images are outside of decent society now, and if you think that they're okay then you're an idiot and a racist. If you're not able to hang these pictures on your front door, locker at school or cubicle at work then why do you think it's okay to hang them here on the internet in a public setting?

i have around a dozen original tin ww2 propaganda posters in my garage plainly visible to everyone walking down the sidewalk any given weekend that i have the door open all day, i have recieved lots of comments about them from mailmen, ups drivers, neighbors and yardsale hunters passing by.

they were all compliments at my collection, at my preserving them and at how humorous they were. but that is because i live in the real world with real people instead of fantasy land like claeyt.

To my taste they weren't even racist whenever they were created. Just a propaganda against enemy. If you don't like it then you should start censoring tribe first

They used caricatures in ignorance to breed hatred of the enemy race. They were racist then but racism was more accepted then. The tribe occasionally uses WW II posters to troll but they generally avoid racist one's.

Look at these three images. The first one uses the image of Hitler to attack his world view and uses propaganda to move people to hate him specifically and his followers in Germany in general.

The second one uses a distorted view of a Japanese soldier to dehumanize the Japanese race. It also attacks Japan and it's Nationalist Government and it's world view (the meaning behind the image of the rising sun is why it's used by right wing groups in Japan) but it uses racist images to make them seem ugly, evil and less than human.

The third poster from the same era was used to dehumanize a race for laughs and for white ideas about racial messaging and racial segregation. It made the caricature seem silly, stupid, and used base racial stereotypes to dehumanize in the exact same way as the Japanese racist poster. It didn't make them seem evil it made them seem silly, stupid and beneath White Americans. It made it seem like they didn't deserve the right to vote or the full rights of the United States, including the right to actual political power. It made them seem less than the race of the person or race of those with power propagandizing it and that's why dehumanizing a race through "Caricature Propaganda" is racist.





Again, I'll go back to my original argument. If you can't hang it on your locker at school, the wall of your cubicle at work or on your front door at home because everyone would think you're a racist, then why would you think it's okay to post it here on a public form and then complain, like Darwoth when we call you a racist.

They all think you're a racist jackass and they're talking about your racist posters behind your back as they walk away. The images aren't funny or historical. If they use racial caricatures then they're disturbing and anyone that you show them to, who isn't a racist, will feel queasy around you and generally avoid you.

Try this Darwoth. Hang the most virulently racist one on your Garage door instead. Or at work. How about this, show the most racist one of these images to some random Asian person on the street and ask them what they think about it.

this type of hypersensitive idiocy is the result of the claegue folks, it not only infects salem but the real world as well. in the real world however it has a real name, "liberals" (ironic title since they are ANYTHING but liberal in their views)

FYI as someone that actually knows minorities i speak with authority when i say the overwhelming majority despise people like claeyt and find his need to be the knight in shining armor there to protect them to be insulting and belittling.
