Thread contains nudity, gore, racism, and has nothing to do with in-game politics at all.

Anti ***** propaganda is in-game politics.
*mild nudity and very mild gore
Next you'll demand a ban on tomahawks or muskets because showcasing those weapons increase the crime rate.

Perhaps you should start reading the rules you are supposed to enforce?

Neither racism, gore or nudity are against the rules per se. And "has nothing to do with in-game poltics at all" just shows us how little you acknowledge the use of propaganda as a political tool.

Still waiting for the punishing of Claeyt for doxxing Jwhitehorn. :?

Yes, the moderator may very well think that racism, gore and nudity are not compatible with "keeping the forums friendly, readable and accessible", but then that is a subjective opinion and the mod in question should therefore refer explicitly to that rule and not to "racism, gore and nudity". Which is why i wrote "per se" to precisely state that "racism, gore and nudity" are not against the rules by themselves, although they may be prohibited indirectly through a subjective interpretation of the rules.

My and anyone's subjective opinion regarding the content of a thread is irrelevant when it comes to what a moderator should write when he decides to interfere in a thread. It would have been okay if the moderator had simply just written "thread is not friendly, locked" instead of what he actually wrote.

I'll give TeckX a pass on his inability to deconstruct parasitical minds into polite looking green text that conforms to your interpretation of the rules.

Most of those posters are historical documents and have nothing to do with gore, or even nudity. Seeing a drawn boob and a silhouette of a naked woman is not nudity. A drawing of a dead woman next to a red hill -certainly a hill of corpses but it looks like nothing- is definitly not gore and I'm starting to wonder what are your actual standards...

The general meaning of those posters have nothing to do with racism neither. I mean, they are racists indeed, mostly towards the Japanese during WWII if I'm not mistaken. I have a bunch of posters myself, from Russia, showing how Americans are evil little bastars. Well they're pretty old and they can't really be considered as current. And that is the point. They are old, and their meaning is obsolete. You can't call that racism.

Now, if you're talking about racism towards Native Americans, that's a complete different story TeckX. We are playing a political game where (roleplaying)Native Americans have decided to treat the (roleplaying) Settlers like "filthy squatters" and to make their law. I do not see what's wrong in using that old WWII propaganda in that political game. It's not directed towards all Native Americans in the world, but only towards IN GAME ( roleplaying) Native Americans. You can't charge Mushibag and his topic for being racist, it's just... an in game/forum related political propaganda. If you wanna close racist topics you'd better start with "Biddas declared war to all Russians" and leave "know your ennmy" alone.

About the nudity... well as I said, we see a painting of a boob, and a drawing of the silhouette of a naked woman. :| Such nudity, wow, etc.

And about the gore... only the first poster can be considered like... barely gore. It has a lot of red on it, picturing blood and bleeding corpses, but it only actually represent accurately that woman with an arrow in the heart and that child crying on that red pool. Well I guess that in english it's what you call gore. In french, it's only when you see people getting their members cut and blood spreading everywhere while the said member is stil more or less moving on the ground.

So, I guess it's all a matter of strandards and I'd say that yours are too hard for the house of burgesses. Everybody insult each other in there and the topics are all about murder, betraying, insulting... which are sometimes harsher than just some pictures.

Anyway, give us back dat topic please I had russian old posters modified to post on it è_é

I want to hear more about obsolete racism. Is that something like "the depiction of Indians as Savage Baby Eaters is OK because they got Casinos now on the reservations the government gave them" ???

Yes, I read your whole post Cheena, but just because you say it's role-play doesn't mean that it isn't despicable in the forums. And the Ethnic baiting that occurs in this game is a disgrace too. I tolerate that **** because it is a game and most people are just stupid anyway, but TechX is just doing his job. Don't try to argue that what you are describing has validity
