you guys do understand that "permaban while discussed" means "longer than a few days and can be released as soon as a conclusion is made"?

pretty sure everyone knows what that means, also pretty sure the issue is that there should be nothing to discuss in the first place.

Having recently being unbanned is all the more reason, I think. What's the point of banning and then lifting it, if not to get the poster in question to improve their behaviour? Just to be clear, I initially set the ban to permanent, since it was clear a ban of some kind was incoming; it's easily changed into a different period through the mod control panel, which has now been done.
