No, I also looked at the logs, which provide me with exact timestamps and an exact sequence of events, so I contest that objection.

Shill wrote:Vigilance did, knowingly, purposefully and unlawfully commit in violation of common practices the offense of:

DENIAL OF SERVICE, ACCESSING THE GAME SERVICE PROVIDED BY SEATRIBE

That Vigilance logged in on the account is already established in the verdict; do you have anything new to add to it?

On another note, I have since spoken to Vigilance again, and would like to let it be added to the record that he claims that he received Realak's own password not just from some other Town member, but from Realak himself. This thread, written by one of Realak's town members, is also relevant to the case.

The following paragraph is merely a restatement of the verdict, but it seems relevant to reiterate it for those among us who might have a hard time with their reading comprehension: I'm not saying that what Vigilance states in his own case, nor that the contents of the linked thread, is actual fact; but I am saying that the poor security practiced by Realak makes it impossible it distinguish one's word from the other's. Also, just in case that also wasn't clear enough from the verdict, I hold Realak's own machinations when speaking to me against him, and it does not exactly make me more inclined to help him.

DanneMM gave the account to Lalliath/Tamasin, who gave it to myself. Not a single petition, request or remark has been heard by either party to have the account returned. This **** pile is on the level of Biddas attacking Claeyt in the same light -- stupid horse ****, go fork it some place else.

With Regards,

Shill the Thief

The DanneMM accout was not 'given' to me, and i did not 'give' it to you.

The original owner lent it to me for the purpose of using his combat alt for defending one of my towns in the unlikely event that it was actually attacked. A few days later, I lent it to you for the purpose of using said combat alt to help defend embie etc's town of Keishiem (of whatever the ***** it was called), because as usual, you had died recently and had no character of your own that could do **** and we both wanted to help them. This was a terrible, terrible mistake and i should never have let anyone else have the details of that account, just given it back to it's original owner. When it became evident that you had changed the password and would continue using that account and the characters on it I was not sure what to do, Willy and I spoke briefly about it and decided to leave the matter alone because of fears you would probably get mad and cause drama if i tried to insist you give it back, and that as it was highly unlikely the original owner would ever want it back anyway it was not worth the drama that would probably result.

But that was wrong of me! It was very wrong of me to lend someone an account I myself was borrowing, and wrong of me to not make a fuss when you stole it. And I feel very bad about it! Perhaps you would have given it back without causing any ****, and if not I could have gone to Loftar.

It is a pretty irrelevant matter from months and months ago, but I still feel bad, and never will i make the same mistakes. I have apologised multiple times to the original account owner and i hope that Loftar will delete it like he wants.

Are you people blooming ***** idiots?

- He did steal it

- No he didnt, I gave him the details and never asked for it back.

- Contradiction

- Shill stated correct facts, but I hate him so I shoved my foot in my mouth.

GOOD ***** GAME.

Password was reset back to okidoki123

DanneMM

I retire from this ***** stupidity.

Honestly done, you have knowingly equipped people with the mindset that a Denial of Service is 100% ***** legit. Don't have to change anything, just setup a machine, log in, and keep it there. Enjoy. Legit. Brilliant ****. Couldn't make it up. Cheers. This combined with the points laid out by jwhitehorn in the latest announcement thread is a done deal, and continues to be why Loftar and Jorb are a daily crack joke in inner-development circuits.

I don't think you understand what denial of service really is.

To blockade or deny someone access to a service, you must be thinking of DDoS, a computing term or assuming I am using that lingo.

If you don't pay your bills, subscriptions, or turn your utilities back on yourself, that is called a Theft of Service.

Its a commercial term, much like the things found in the EULA, ToS, Privacy Policy and other documents.

It was your responsibility as the borrower to either return the account or make 100% sure that the account is 100% yours. Common sense. The lender should never have to ask it back.

Was 100% well taken care of, and no one ever used it other than me. Account reverted to its loaned state. Wash my hands of it

The owner can very much choose to let his account rot without anyone ever using it, that's his prerogative; therefore it does absolutely not matter at all that no one ever used it besides you.
