So that's why someone asked me to claim I'm part of gallows town.

I can assure you, the name doesn't have nearly enough ***** references for my tastes.

Assuming Bait and Dallane is there and they are not with you, my guess is that you are not allowed to join even if you wanted to. How far am I from the truth ?

I have no clue who Gallows Town are. No one I've ever talked to has claimed to be from there. As for Bait and Dallane I offered near worldstart for them to come live with me and my "group" (Never materialized so I ended up hermiting essentially with another crafter from our Pre-Com village) again but they decided to do their own thing this time around. Seems like they're having fun

Why would they want to do their own thing? Were they dissatisfied with the leadership or the achievements in previous world?

At the time they told me they weren't sure if they were going to be playing seriously or casually, so they'd prefer to be on their own. After that my village group never materialized as the rest of my combat players all decided to move on to other games. As such there was no real benefit of villaging up, so I didn't bother to make a second offer.

Also you have to admit they're getting more personal glory this way, instead of giving it to a faction. Nothing wrong with wanting to inflate the e-peen imo if you're a warrior type to begin with.

I was content to "hermit" for a couple months but the game has lost its interest for me. I'm enjoying tending to the forums though and that keeps me busy enough.

Anybody can kill a ***** of noobs that have no idea how to play the game. I'm willing to bet though, you scalp NOBODY that's worth it. NOBODY with a sword, NOBODY that has even the slightest ability to fight back.

I don't know if I would say "anybody" there are certain individuals like yourself who run from any and all confrontations and ONLY fight those who you can be 1000% sure won't be fight back because they are offline. Who is worse? The White Man who can fight back if he wants to and chooses not to? Or the AFK victim?

Sure as long as grinding out cricket teams for my alts is "fun" for them. In that case they are having a blast.
