Oh come now. That reply was witty enough to pass. Immature perhaps but I don't see 12yo's coming up with zingers often personally.
It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.

Oh look, sevenless, the mighty raider and killer. Let me quote the words of the almighty Sevenless:

I'm definitely a havener and I'm not a griefer. However, my morales are likely considered questionable to people who come from less brutal game types. The key difference is that I make decisions to ruin other people's game for personal gain or strategic advantage, not for personal pleasure. Raiding hermits is very profitable, and killing them is often an easy way to reduce the chance of them offering bounties on your head. You'd be surprised, but people still get incredibly pissed if you let them live and you're letting them have more tools to try and hurt you back with.

I don't see how that's a burn.
I never managed to figure out something clever for my signature on Paradoxplaza, and I doubt I'll do it here either.

It isn't :D, sevenless it just as bad as the rest of us raiders, although he tries to escape guilt by using a holier-than-thou attitude to justify his actions.

I've never seen Sevenless deny that he is a raider.

Just because he acts nicely on the forums doesn't mean he's a saint in-game, like me.

He denies being a griefer, he says so in the very post I quoted.

Being a raider and being a griefer are two different things. A raider raids and kills for profit. A griefer raids/kills for the lulz.

EDIT: For the record, I personally find "the lulz" to be the best (and only) reason to do anything and everything.

A griefer is a person who causes grief, which is precisely what raiders do and there is no shame in doing so, it is just a natural aspect of intentionally destroying and taking what other people built up and collected.

"A griefer is a player in a multiplayer video game who deliberately irritates and harasses other players within the game, using aspects of the game in unintended ways."

"Someone, usually in an online game, who intentionally, and usually repeatedly, attempts to degrade anothers experience or torment them."

No, not in game context it is not.
