Weird Proficiencies

Postby uncleseano » Wed Feb 26, 2014 7:25 pm

I'm trying to raise C&C to 1750 but it's all wrong. Then I noticed all other prof are wrong too.

See the way it says its on lvl 16 but yet I need 2240 or more to raise it. All the rest are buggered too, what the feck like?

Example, any ogf them, M&M needing 2800 to raise even though its on 20.... Grr...

Am I missing something?

If you use the inspirational twice, it raises the upper limit for all of the proficiencies.
Did I guess that right that you have used some of the inspirationals 5 times?

In an attempt to be more specific, top end of all proficiencies is raised by 10% of the proficiency level.

Example: A C&D of 16 requires 1600 points to fill and raise. If you use any inspirational a second time, requirements increase by 10%, or 160 points. As Randall noted, using the same item 5 times would boost the Top end requirement by 4*160 (in this example).

If you are trying to get a skill, using multiples of a single item does not increase the requirements. Therefore, it should be noted that this mechanic only affects raising proficiencies. The benefit of the new mechanic is that there is no longer the Learning % Penalty when acquiring skills.

I hope I got that right :)

It was in the patch notes, but details can be pretty easy to miss. Don't feel too bad about it. We all need relearning periods. (I missed the tidbit that clay pots just need a fireplace.)

laying off the booze when playing might help, though.
