if it weren't mentioned in this thread already, a search of these fine forums would surely turn up some answers? (You can use as bait, at least, and compost, as well as at least one recently discovered artifact).

I got spruce roots while removing a stump. It can be used as fiber, haven't found any other use for it.

not really a find, but I'm catching plenty of fish in fish trap, using just wood chippings.

Can you explain a bit more thoroughly?

Like: where do you put the fish trap, how many choppings you use, how long you wait and what you get?

Sure;
River/stream.
Filled with choppings, every slot.
6 seperate times, everytime at least one fish - had 5 fish in one trap one time.
3 different type of fish caught. Raging bullhead, Trunk nosed lake perch and Silt-dwelling mud snapper
I've checked next morning, and all choppings gone just fish and I've checked a couple of hours later and found sometimes fish and sometimes nothing but missing choppings, but fish caught when checked back later.

On to other baits now to see what I get.

Anyone else wish to report fish trap bait/success?

Shall we start a whole new thread for that? I mean it seems like an important topic.

Noticed a change... or not... hard to say with super slow inspiration vs the old way.

When I butcher rabbits- I just get a single cut of meat... until I learn Field Dressing...and then I get a single cut of meat and the hide.

Either Wiki- rabbit hides were always a given... at least I never noticed it being otherwise.
