More of those "useless comments" and we'll soon convince Darworth to stay :).

I'm the dumbest Salem player but the new Gluttony is really easier and more intuitive now.

I just mouseover the food and watch the effects on the humor bars, the debbufs are pretty intuitive to spot. Takes a couple sessions to feel secure but now I'm loving it. Good jorb!

I think the newly implemented system is decent. As loftar said the numbers they used were guesstimates, so we'll probably get some tweaking.
See you in the woods.

he gluttony system, though much easier to understand, has a time bar to it which is kind annoying but not that bad. However, the whole inspirational thing is whack. 3 hours of solid foraging and you are out of inspirationals which takes away the fun from a casual hermit gamer.

You only run out of inspirationals if you are spamming the same one during a learning session. Do you perhaps refer to the "Inspiration meter" which runs out for you?

Now I've started finding old singing logs its frustrating that I don't have 10k spare inspiration kicking around, but I will in the morning.

Actually, if you read what the 'old face guys' are saying, it's that this system is worse for newbies and for late comers. Those of us who have the time can make alts and always have some inspiration pool to use on one character or another, but those who only have time for one or two characters will take forever to get their skills.

Those of us who come in early can start humoring characters and be far ahead of those who come later. And unlike before, when you could humor up an alt pretty quick, now you'll take weeks or months even if you have the resources to do it faster.

Then there's the fact that you run out of inspiration so quick and it regens so slowly, that new players might lose interest before they really get to play the game.

kelthulz wrote:The new system have both pros and cons, but i think it make the game less pay-to-win(remove stall, grind silver easier, high-tier stuffs not good for newstarter, etc...).

The game was never pay-to-win. Grinding silver is the same now as it used to be. Stalls needed a lot of effort put into them to make a profit and all silver really does is let you have a bigger town or claim.

I think that soon, when thugs start running around murdering all the casuals who thought they were safe for a long time yet because 'advancement is really slow now right?', people will start understanding that those of us who are complaining aren't trying to help ourselves, we're trying to help the game. We'll adapt and continue to be the best no matter what twisted mechanic is thrown in.

No stalls. New feasting system, new curio system.

^ This +1

LOL Jorb will wait till all of you spend the sliver which they gave you back so a couple weekes then add stalls so you would have to grind maybe 5k to get one or buy 5k from the stall. Anyone who want a stall will buy the 5000 sliver .
