Well at start it was looking good from my perspective (part of large town), I know you prefer solo play, but after I started creating alts I got fraking bored, same as my friends :| ... in hnh when you create alt you just drop him curio, doesn't matter what, you care only about LP and time of study. Here we have to look at 15 different profs, that was awesome, but with current profs mechanic it is not.

Gluttony wasn't bad for first few hours, but when you try to create alt, you need to feed him with BB first, everybody needs BB AT START :!:
How do you think it can work in larger towns? And waiting more than 3 hours or more between gluttony could be fun if we had any more content (or at later stage of the game), right now we can't do much, and gathering same food for your alts all the time is boring.
I do understand that Devs wanted to slow down killers, but it could be done other way, make profs like c&d harder to get?
But don't make all skills so hard (slow) to rise, people are getting bored to death and they logout :|

so what your saying is that a day later yourself and your friends finally realized that what i said after an hour of gameplay was on the money.

it almost always is, just takes folks time to realize it because they have to let me know what a dumb ******* i am and that i cry to much etc first.

Developers never understand that by slowing down progression into a time based solution, all you're doing is saying "Anyone who comes into this game after a month will be unable to compete, period". When combat is based on stats, and you can get X stats per day, every day you don't login to get those stats you're behind. I'd rather be able to play sparingly throughout the work week and catch up on the weekends, this system does not let me do that. So why, as a competitive person, would I play a game knowing that I will never catch up?

quote from my guildmate on our private boards, he is a "casual" at the moment which is what this patch was supposedly designed to "enhance" the experience of and yet he still instantly sees the problem, as did the couple of others who were planning to actually give it a shot this time after seeing all the fun i got into over the past 2 years.

probably because unlike the developers they actually play games.

if they wanted to slow down killers they could of made murder cost 200 cloak and dagger or some kind of stupid **** like that and left everything else alone without ***** the entire game up with this "inspiration" crap that saps any "inspiration" to log in.

Not so long ago you were crying about wipe, while we left game year ago?

Right now salem is bit hard to play at early stage, maybe later it can be more fun, but it is also permadeath, so we should get alts... and that means we go again and again with this boring part. There is little new content, yet we can't enjoy it much, beacause everybody needs same set of skills and profs to achieve anything in game :/
Maybe skills requirements should be redesigned, so farmer would have other skill path than fighters, fighers, hunters etc etc?
I don't know, right now getting same skills for few people in one camp is rather stupid and breaks fun while playing in group.
And I would suggest done something with BB needed to get skill points faster...
fighters should care about blood and/or YB,
farmers about phlegm,
builders about BB
maybe?

I know no classes in salem, but we can get paths of skills, if you want to you can get all of them, but if you are in group you pick those you like most.

I think they upped the inspriation rate. mine says 1/sec, but this morning I'm getting 6 per second.

Yeah, apparently the interface is 6 insperation per tick. Your 1/sec is still accurate.

none of that is required, what is so hard to understand about the simple truth of..........

CHANGE THE GAME BACK TO HOW IT WAS BEFORE YOU RUINED IT LAST SUMMER AND SEE PEAKS OF 1200 AGAIN

everyone enjoyed the game back then, which is why those were the "golden times" enjoyed by many, but then jackass and jackoff decided to take a few rips from the bong for "inspiration" and nerfed purity.

ever since that day the game has been hemorrhaging players, and so we wait a year for the "big fix" and this is what we get?

it is to bad their pompous ego's will not allow them to admit they ***** up and change **** back to how it was then or similar.

Why don't you give actual feedback instead of tears?

l2read. He's given quite a bit of very accurate feedback. The fact that it is mixed with tears is not his fault, he was the one who was raped with no lube.

The tears make it hard to take seriously. I've already had to put him on ignore because he is clearly infested by the cleague. I don't even have cleaty on ignore anymore thats how bad it is.
