But if it is done right it won't be laggy. In salems map we had grids, so if new map is super huge I think Devs splited it somehow, so they won't load entire map at once.

Maybe - yes, or maybe - no. Should i remind you H&H's laggin'?

In my horrible opinion, large limited map is better. Or, if it's large enough, it may be "tailbiting", so you may walk "around the world" (that's against game concept, but funny).

and i have solution for "infinite" map: do it round... yes like our mother earth, do it like you go to the north from main town and get to the south of that town. So no more borders!

If you can get to south by going north it's not a globe, it's a torus.

a sphere is a torus, though. I think you got the point he was trying to make :)

And I would still prefer a finite map without loops. Just bigger than the previous one: I didn't really like travelling from one side to the other in a couple of hours. It makes the map feel tiny (but makes for more drama, of course)

Yeah, I very prefer a globe rather than invisible walls.

globe i mean. Or make it continent surounded by ocean. Now its odd to see how deer can make it through invisible wall and i cant... :roll:
