Possible that those things makes is fun for some people,
but spy should be limited only to get and sell informations, not open gates or destroy braziers without scents?
Backstabbing still would be possible even if you wouldn't be able to build personal claim on public part of the town.
Treachery, well town management won't affect that I am sure you would be able to sell town location, players names and lots of other things no matter what permission to town claim you get ;)

You do know you can do some damage control having some personal claims of your own inside the town claim, right?
You do know you don't have to hand out every key to every citizen?

So I have to spend addidtional silver to fill huge hole in bad design?

If you won't give people keys to the gates leading outside of the town, how do you expect they will play?

We both know silver is not any kind of issue in game due pelters.
Well how in the hell can you make a town full of people if you can't even trust them in the first place?

If you are making larger town there are always new people you can't trust?
Of course you can create some newbie camp, but that won't make your main town better and you would have to manage two towns :/
