I agree that we could get better at fixing trivial things. They tend to fall in between the cracks and seem too small to merit much attention. If it's any consolation to you, I've gotten around to making better graphics for woodblocks, tumbleweeds, and a few others. ;)

Make better graphics for halberds, then implement halberds. Then put my name in the description as we'd agreed. Then delete halberds. Then delete Plymouth.

Also yay updates

I do not know where you got the brains, but if I was not on Playmouth, I would not tell you anything.

Brego is everywhere. I've seen him have 3 different market loiterers at the same time on different clients in all three towns. He is Biddas and the the game wouldn't be the same without him.

As a master mason with a grudge, can you tell us if they're actually going to wipe any servers?

Jorb wrote:lots of stuff

I know I'll never get an answer to any of these but since Jorb is making his bi-monthly appearance I'll ask:

1. Will there be a wipe in the next 3 months?

Salem is different from HnH. There is much more time and effort than HnH in a lot of ways to get an effective town going. You can't wipe without fair warning like you do in HnH. They expect a wipe over there. Based on your previous statements here, we don't. I understand why you'd want to do a wipe and I'd probably start over with everyone else but if we're only given a week like HnH I know that almost all of the people playing full time now would leave the game. So please, give us a long term warning.

2. Are you breaking even with the game or are you making money?

I can't imagine you guys are making a lot on this game and I understand if this is a hobby for you now so I don't mind the big breaks between updates. I don't expect you to update weekly or anything like that. I understand you're moving to cheaper servers and that makes sense for you guys to make more money off it. Can you enlighten us as to if Salem is on solid footing for the future? My biggest worry is that you guys aren't making enough money to keep the servers on.

3. If you and the Chief had a falling out, then is he still on the "Master Mason's'' forum?

How much information is given to them about what's going to happen to the game. We get so many rumors and stuff from that list of players and we can't tell if it's trolling or not. I don't mind the list but if information is given than it would mean a clear advantage to them and their allies in game. Do you hold stuff back from them to keep the game fair?

4. Can you at least give us the days that the servers are going to be down when you transfer them?

Maybe you can't answer how long they're going to be down or stuff like that but there has to be a date set for you to transfer them to the new server provider right? Can you tell us a day or which week?

Assuming what you say is true about the servers being changed, don't you think they will just wipe it and start over in the new servers rather than moving the whole data from one server to the other?

My thought at the moment does not have a reason to do a wipe.
You have been given a big world and it's your problem that you can not play
For some reason many people do not answer question about wipe and continue to enjoy the game.
Honestly for me the question of the wipe really dumb.
What's stopping you enjoy the game?
Stop complaining, grasp the head, kill a sloth and enjoy.
Maybe with a new upgrade you will make life easier in Salem but that does not mean that you all will present on a platter.

But someone else is? Get over yourself.

I don't think the Paymaster was suggesting an exclusive right to be your bosom-buddy, but rather that the community at large, specifically longtime members, have voiced concerns not inconsistent with those of opposing factions, on how some features in the game could be altered with comparatively less effort than the gluttony overhaul that have no bearing on gluttony which would result in an improved game experience for both new players and existing ones.

The problem here is that what you may view to be "trivial" is actually a big deal to players. Thank you for acknowledging that you could get better at making these fixes, but the crux of what I believe is being argued here is a difference not in priority but in understanding, as Paul said, the "why" behind community suggestions. We are not trying to change the scope of your game or demanding exclusive rights to effect its outcome, but some of us have spent a lot of time in this world you have created and have developed unbiased, experienced positions that could be used to help make your game better.
